This quality Pre-Owned Marshall AS50R is both compact and portable and features 2 channels, each of which boasts its own independent volume and tone controls. The variety of inputs gives the AS50R the flexibility to handle any acoustic instruments with transducer pickups, such as magnetic or Piezo [channel 1], or microphone for vocal or other instrument reproduction [channel 2]. Also, a pair of phono inputs on channel 2 allows the reproduction of backing tracks.
It has a built-in chorus, assignable to either or both channels, plus reverb and parallel effects loop that can be balanced between the 2 channels. Anti-feedback controls include a Phase switch and ‘Notch’ – selectable by a rotary control. The AS50R is loaded with 2×8 in. speakers and a high-efficiency piezo tweeter, for clear and detailed reproduction. It also has an internal limiter that allows you to drive the 50 Watt power stage hard, yet remain distortion-free.
