Ensemble Voice also provides authentic ensemble performances, containing the musical knowledge of a professional music arranger. For example, play two notes with a Brass Quartet Ensemble Voice and Tyros 5 will send the trumpets to the top notes and the trombones to the lower notes.

The world of organs contained inside the Tyros 5 are all reproduced with stunning samples, allowing the Tyros 5 to shine in any situation you may encounter. Vintage, Home, Euro, Concert and Theatre organ voices are part of the comprehensive set of realistic organ-style controls and adjustable effects. Intuitive operation allows you to change the sound in real time, meeting the needs of even the most demanding performer.

There are 40 new percussion-based styles within the Tyros 5’s accompaniment capabilities. Add a natural feel, ambience and warmth to your drum and percussion parts, offering greater expressive potential. your playing can also benefit from Time Stretch Technology, allowing the audio to follow tempo changes without changing pitch, keeping everything in perfect sync.

Enhanced DSP effects are a new, high-quality feature. They include Real Distortion and Real Reverb, providing beautifully designed panel displays. They act just like actual effect devices with highly intuitive controls. VCM effects are also included, using the same technology as the pro-level processing on Yamaha’s high-end mixers. Real Reverb improves on the Reverb technology found in previous Tyros 5 versions. Real Distortion bases the effects on digital models of classic guitar amps from the ’60s and ’70s, meticulously reproducing the frequencies and dynamics of real guitar distortion sounds.

Playback and record audio files and performances, and create ‘karaoke-style’ tracks in the key and tempo you choose. You can even link your own audio files using the Audio Link Multi Pad function, and trigger them from the pad as you perform, adding an extra dimension with sound effects, vocal phrases and much more.
